The Starfish Patisserie opened in January 2008 and quickly became known on St. Croix for wedding cakes, outstanding pastries, decadent desserts, gourmet paninis, rich luscious cakes, pies and tortes, fresh brewed espressos, cappuccinos, frozen drinks and homemade gelatos.
The Starfish Patisserie specializes in unique and unusual cakes for all occasions. Come in and you will find an outstanding array of freshly baked pastries, cookies, tortes, gourmet paninis made to order in addition to freshly brewed espressos, frozen coffee drinks and frappes. We also make gelato (Italian ice cream), on the premises with fresh fruit bases, including passion fruit, mango, guava, cappuccino and tira misu.
We also specialize in wedding cakes, creating a memory that will last a lifetime.
The Patisserie is a family business owned by Dennis Gribbin and his son, Patrick.
Dennis brings his twenty years of pastry experience to the Patisserie. He is the award winning pastry chef for the Virgin Islands Culinary Team and has won several awards for his pastries and desserts at the Taste of St. Croix.
Patrick, a native-born Virgin Islander, graduated from the Florida Culinary Institute in April, 2008 with a degree in International Baking and Pastry Arts and is a master cake creator and decorator at the Patisserie.
Together they bring a level of excellence and quality in pastries, desserts and cakes never seen before on St. Croix.
